ALANGU :
This is a tall breed with powerful head, small deep sunken eyes and short coat. The muzzle is black, brisket is deep, and the limbs are well muscled. The back is long with the tail tapering to a fine point. It has a long and graceful stride. Average Height 32 inch or above weight 100 kg. This is most ancient bloodline from Thanjavur and Tiruchi districts of South India.
BOHLI :
heavily wrinkled, muscular and strong boned, large, swift-footed, strong black & pink muzzle and strong jaws, skin around the lower jaw and neck is loose.
